Motel 6 Atlanta, GA - Atlanta Airport Virginia Ave

My flight was canceled at Atlanta airport, and Delta provided a hotel voucher for an overnight stay here. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing due to cleanliness concerns. As soon as I entered the room, I saw a roach. The next morning, I saw another one while leaving. Because of that, I did not feel comfortable using the towels, and I was uneasy about the bedding as well. I stayed the night only because I had no other option. On the positive side, the front desk staff were friendly and answered my questions, and the hotel is conveniently close to the airport with shuttle service available. However, cleanliness is a basic expectation, and based on this experience, I would not stay here again.

Walked in entryway, smelled like pot. Not a great first impression. Got to room and it just had a nasty smell. Unfortunately this is where our airline put us for bad service and making us miss our flight.. couldn’t wait to leave! Only plus is has 24 hour shuttle.

This place is absolutely disgusting. After an exhausting day of travel and being stuck at the airport we booked what we could to get some rest before navigating the airport again. The airport shuttle never showed. So we took an uber. The lock didn’t work, then we are told multiple steps on how to get it to work. The 3rd floor had the lovely aroma of cigarettes and marijuana. Our shower had a dirty wash rag hanging from the shower curtain rod which was very obviously used. The tub had not been cleaned, there was a ring from the bar of soap from the prior tenants and the shower head had pink mold. There was stuff squirted on the shower walls and old hair. The floor was absolutely disgusting. With urine around the base of the toilet and the floors look like they haven’t been mopped in years.

My husband and I booked for 2 nights and I gotta say this place is horrible, we left after 1 night. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it smelled of cigars, marijuana and dog pee. The whole environment in the hotel wasn’t welcoming and you can definitely tell people live there. Our hotel room also had a stench of cigarette smoke and the bathroom sink was clogged. The bathroom towels had stains on them. We brought our dogs and the dog relief area is terrible, it’s just a patch of dirt next to the dumpsters. We thought because of the location it would be nicer but we were dead wrong and it was a business trip we were on.

Flight got cancelled and was comped at this hotel. Worst hotel that I've ever seen. It would have been better to spend the night at the airport. - The entire hotel smells like marijuana - Shower either gives freezing cold or scalding hot water - Floor was sticky - Black mold around the shower - Loud elevator and other noises all night long
