Motel 6 Atascadero, CA

No warm water to take shower. Called front desk was told they couldn't do anything about it. Was told to call the manager tomorrow. By far the worst experience of my life. My family and I book about 20 to 30 rooms a year. I would think twice about booking at this motel.

Positive: Nothing good , I would never stay there again Negative: 1. Water all over the floor ( flooded2. No manager on site 3 . Air conditioning was broken ( 4. No maintenance available 5. Shower not cleaned 6. Dirt on the floor ( gross)

My Daughter booked a room here, dropped her bag off and went to get dinner as she had worked all day after driving 6 hours to get there, she got back to the room approximately 1 hour later and realized how dirty it was the bathroom door was locked and there were stains on the bedding of black and brown spots (looked like bed bugs) she called me not knowing what to do (she's 18 and has never traveled w/out me) I told her to send me pics and we booked a room at the Marriott, I instructed her to let them know she was checking out and would like a refund. The manager went to check the room and came back yelling at her. The entire interaction was terrible. Absolutely DISGUSTING.

This place has no hot water I have been here three days the lady at the front desk says it doesn't come on until around 10 thru the afternoon. The coffee is super weak the phones don't work drug deals going on outside. Pet friendly but no place to walk the dogs. 91 dollars a night for a bed no blankets and 2 small pillows. This place is the lowest of them all. Looks ok from the street.

Beyond disgusted, multiple BED BUGS were found in my room here. Despite the dirty mattress, dirt filled walls and broken headboard, we were going to stick it out, but once I saw the bed bugs on my luggage that was the last straw. All of our luggage is trash now, and we are so disappointed. I now have to deal with this when I get home, ruining my trip. When we showed the front desk the picture I took of the bed bug she tried to say “that’s a cockroach” and “maybe you brought them in”. Only after she saw for herself the bed bug walking across our floor did she believe us apologized and give us a refund. Needed to warn others - don’t stay here! Check your mattresses if you stay here!!!
