Home2 Suites by Hilton Atascadero

Excellent stay! Stayed here while visiting San Simeon and surrounding area. Staff are friendly and offered wonderful service despite experiencing technical check-in issues. Hotel is clean, quiet, easily accessible from fwy and minutes from restaurants and shops. No jacuzzi but pool is warm. Free breakfast offerings were good and suitable for those with modified diets.Highly recommend and hope to return soon.

Upon arrival, our room had a bad smell. We got a deodorizer to battle that but the first night our AC unit rattled on and off like a 747 was taking off. The whole night. Breakfast muffins were stale. Egg bites were disgusting. Waffles were good. We talked to the desk clerk about the smell and the AC unit. Asked to have it looked at. When we got back later that afternoon- the room did smell so much better. Extra towels were left (we had asked) so they delivered. AC was much better the 2nd night. 3rd night the rattle was back! Awful. My husband figured out if we pulled out on the vent- it helped. So that was the problem? Anyway we checked out on Sunday and we talked to some other folks staying there and they also had a horrible AC experience and just ran their fan instead. It was our daughte

The place is roomy and clean but my only problem is the air conditioning.  When it reaches the set temperature it turns off.  Then when it turns back on it was so loud and it does that 3 times in the middle of the night which makes me wake up all the time.  Now I got this big headache because of not sleeping well 😢

Pros: - Newer property - Beautiful lobby - Friendly and helpful employees - No parking fees/plenty of parking near the front entrance - Lots of full sized luggage carts available - 2 elevators - Spacious room - Good lighting in room - Quiet Cons: - Low flow shower head - Not as much wall-mounted storage as other Home2's - Refrigerator is not full-sized Great location just off of US 101 and surrounded by grocery stores, a 7-Eleven, and a few chain restaurants. A unique lobby for a Home2, very cozy and welcoming. Paso Robles is a 15 minutes drive away. I would absolutely stay at this Home2 again.

We stopped here while passing through and booked this Home2 Suites based on the good reviews. It exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and spacious, breakfast was well stocked and replenished quickly, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. After a bad night at a Marriott property previously, my back felt much better after just one night here. If we pass through Atascadero again, we would definitely stay here.
