Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Atascadero

I had great service at this hotel. I came in late I need of a place to stay and Chandler at the front desk helped me and was very kind and understanding. Anthony, who was working in the breakfast area provided 5 star service despite being extremely busy and under a lot of pressure. I honestly was shocked at the level of service for this tier of Marriott property. I have stayed at ritz Carlton locations with comparable service to this property. I hope management recognizes the two employees who stood out and did a great job! The rooms were clean and recently updated much nicer than I have stayed at other Fairfield locations.

After reading other reviews, I was a bit skeptical about staying here. Yes, it is a bit outdated but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was quite courteous and there was actual housekeeping service which most other places no longer offer. This was one of the least expensive places to stay in the area and I would absolutely book here again. Good value.

Nice and friendly staff. The room and bed were clean and accommodating. The usual items are present. Coffee maker, fridge, ironing board and iron, blow dryer etc. They have a very clean workout room and pool. The parking lot is well lit with a lot of space. I'll stay again next time in in town

The room and front desk were fine. The room was nice and clean. Bedsheets smells clean and fresh. Breakfast is at 6-9am so come early. It's super crowded after 8.15am. Don't bother trying to get proper breakfast here if you come later than 8.30am. At 8:30am on Sunday, there were almost no food left - no bread, no sausage, no oatmeal, empty coffee tank but will be tons of people waiting for leftover food. The only one staff who worked at breakfast didn't seem to enjoy his tasks and didn't take care of the area well. No interact with customer to inform what's going on with the empty trays and just had headphones plugged in all the time. For $110 a night, it's ok. It's 45 mins to Hearst Castle.
