Moonrise On Mill St. Inn

Jess was an amazing host! The Moonrise On Mill St Inn was the ideal getaway if you’re looking for a convenient place to stay right in the heart of downtown NC! We went for Victorian Christmas and the Inn was right off the Main Street but wasn’t loud and still provided a tranquil stay without having to sacrifice ease and convenience. Their place is super pet friendly and is the ideal getaway for you and your four legged friend. Will definitely be back to stay for next year’s Victorian Christmas!

A wonderful venue for our staff offsite at the end of the year in a georgeous historic setting. Great downtown location in the heart of the Grass Valley-Nevada City Cultural District. Lots of room and beautifully designed and maintained throughout. A real gem.

Loved our stay..one night was quick, Would love to come back for at least 2-3 days. Location is super great, we stayed in the downstairs 1 bedroom portion. Mill Street is very quite & peaceful. All the amenities are wonderful! The hosts were responsive & helpful.

Location, location, location. We love walk able accommodations and this had not only that but was also very charming. Would plan another stay when back in the area. The owners were extremely attentive, checked in with us and answered our questions in a timely manner. A lovely getaway, highly recommend. Extra care of the top room and the pitch of the walls.

I loved my stay in the Carriage House in February—hosts were incredibly kind, responsive and accommodating. Great location just off the Main Street through this awesome town. One of several beautiful connected options, this one felt quiet, private, and well stocked/equipped with so much charm and coziness. The electric stove/fireplace kicked off wonderful heat in the mid-level living room. The dining room is a step or two sunk down from a really cute kitchen with a an updated vintage vibe. It was a perfect spot for me. The A frame bedroom on the top floor felt high up and safe, adding to the overall cozy factor. Three smallish levels create quite an overall spacious feel. The flight of stairs from the top floor are large wooden and barn-like and the one bathroom is on the main level, but
