Looks like an awesome lake. The trails are a little ruff but passable. We visited in late Fall. Only saw 1 other vehicle. Lake level was low.

Bowman Lake is one of the most breathtaking and peaceful destinations I’ve ever visited. Nestled deep within Glacier National Park, the lake’s crystal-clear waters reflect towering snow-capped peaks, creating a scene straight out of a postcard. The drive in is rugged and remote—just enough to keep the crowds away—but the reward is serenity and raw natural beauty. We camped right by the shoreline and woke each morning to the sounds of birds, wind in the trees, and the occasional splash of fish jumping. Evenings were surreal—watching the sun dip behind the mountains and the sky explode in color was something I’ll never forget. Bowman is truly wild. During our visit, we had two black bear sightings just off the trail and heard from rangers about a recent mountain lion sighting near the camp

When they say the road is rough to this lake, it's no joke. We almost made it with my AWD, but punctured a tire - got to lake, but decided to head back to main road as a precaution if got another flat and needed cell service. Definately will come back another day with a different vehicle. On a side note: on way back down passed a shiny brand new BMW and a Toyota Prius. I wonder if they made it or turned around when they got to "creek bed rocks" part of the road.

Awesome place to be! Bring your quads, dirtbikes, can-ams, or crawler. Recommend 4x4 truck with good tires for the rocky terrain. 👌🏼 Fun to camp out here too! Bring your kayak folks!!
