Monterey Oceanside Inn

This hotel is absolutely disgusting As we opened our hotel door, we were met with a disgusting fishy odor smell We had to air out the room it’s smelled like a public bathroom On top of that, the floors were so dirty that It left our Feet completely black The bedsheet smelled weird and they even had crumbs in it like they never cleaned the bed On top of that, the beds are harder than a rock and the pillows are completely Flat our bathroom was absolutely disgusting as well like no one had cleaned it. Shower curtain had mold on it I would definitely not recommend coming here

Terrible experience. Worst stay and I’ve stayed at a lot of budget places. The place smelled awful. The toilet was not properly secured to the floor. The room was not clean, and there were stains on the pillow cases. The worst part though was the hostility that the family running the place had towards us. I’m a polite person who does not complain. I just asked if I could get extra pillows because I’m very pregnant and forgot my own pillows at home. They seemed offended by my request. We decided to check out early because something about the smell/air in the room and not getting sleep due to the uncomfortable bed was making us sick. We cut out trip short and just went back home. They wouldn’t give us a refund and actually passed the room key back to me as if to tell me to stay. They didn’t

Things were falling apart in the room and the TV is basic channels with a broken remote, not good with a child. Wish we could have something like a smart TV to access Netflix for our kids programs. Shower drips water through the night. The fridge was loose and the freezer door broken. Felt like a low quality motel 6 for $154 a night on booking.com. guess next time I'll just pay $200 for a room better taken care of and would love to actually lock the door so my son wouldn't just open the door to the parking lot. Definitely not something I'd recommend to a family with small children.
