Montage Big Sky

5 star resort with 3 star service. Immaculately clean, great food, but really needs to train their seasonal staff for the price point. Service quality was lacking based on other resorts we have stayed (Four Seasons, Aman, Auberge and other Montage). When I addressed issues with hotel manager, he said he would follow up and it never happened. Really disappointing. Not sure I would return for what we paid…

Had the pleasure of recently staying at the Montage. From initial check in through our departure the staff was attentive and professional. No task was too small, exceeding our expectations. The grounds were meticulously maintained and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The Cortina restaurant was certainly a highlight. Each course was delicious. Staff was well informed and our sommelier perfectly matched wine selections with each course. If you are seeking luxurious accommodations with ski on ski off access, look no further than The Montage.

I am jealous of my past self as I write this... but the Montage Big Sky Resort must absolutely be praised. The property is exceptionally beautiful and tranquil, catering to young families, while still providing a relaxing stay for couples seeking a romantic getaway. In addition to there ski in/ski out amenities, we loved their onsite dining and visited the spa daily following a day on the slopes. All of the staff members are lovely, attentive and the utmost professionals -- particularly Justin (front desk manager), Marin (valet team) and Celena (massage therapist). As always, the Montage brand never disappoints. We can't wait to come back.

We were really craving a good Aprés meal after a day on the slopes so we headed over to Alpenglow. The bartender Julie was amazing at guiding us through the menu we ended up starting with the caviar and charcuterie. Ellenor the sommelier helped us pick out a nice champagne to pair with everything and her service was also very impeccable. For dinner we had the prawns the burger and the duck sandwich and everything that came out of Chef Javiers kitchen was amazing my personal favorite was the sticky toffee pudding they had for dessert 10/10 can’t wait to go again. Julie has one of the best dirty martinis in big sky!

Wow! That's all there is to say about Montage Big Sky. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at (ski resort or not). My new number one resort for a ski resort. Everything here was amazing from start to finish. We had a wonderful room, wonderful service, and employees that really cared. It was very refreshing to stay at a hotel that provided a true luxury experience without constant up charges. I would much prefer to pay a higher rate in advance and the hotel deliver and that's exactly what Montage Big Sky did. In addition to wonderful accommodations, the resort has amazing dining options. Truly a place you never have to leave. We are looking forward and planning our next trip back already.
