Mont Morris Guest House

Wonderful place. The rooms are clean, spacious (in New York), and well decorated. The bed is comfy. The surrounding neighborhood looks interesting but I feel unsafe. Probably because I'm not New Yorker.

This guest house is located in what I found the best district of the big apple. It is well connected to the city center with the red line metro, it takes 15 min to be in Manhattan, walking distance to Central Park. The surrounding area is alive, vivid, extremely interesting, and there is always something going on at night. Bars with live music, shows, nice talkative people, very kind inhabitants in general. The employees are extremely nice and kind: they gave us a small guide to NYC (and Harlem) with useful hints and tips to survive low-budget in the city. They really helped us, and had a lot of understanding as we overslept the day we were supposed to check-out.
