Modesto Ski Club

Modesto Ski Club is a great place to meet new friends interested in outdoor activities for all seasons! The club was started almost 100 years ago and has been sustained through volunteer leadership, focused intention and work to keep the club vibrant and the Truckee lodge well maintained. Ski Club friends often meet up at the lodge for skiing, hiking, biking or kayaking. The atmosphere at MSC activities is welcoming and family friendly. It is a great place for singles, couples and families. Activities and dinners are planned through out the year.

My Dad helped build the MSC Lodge way back in 1965. I grew up going there as a kid. I have the best memories of the fun weekends at the Lodge . My Dad passed away in 2022. I was grandfatherd back into the club in 2023. What a fantastic group of people! I have gotten to know many of them. The creepy comment really bothers me! Many of the members are retired law enforcement, teachers, ect...I myself own and operate a family child care/preschool. There is nothing "creepy" going on there. It's a safe and fun place for families and friends to gather.

Great place for great people to come and share experience in the mountains whether it’s skiing on the slopes or hiking on the trails, this place is near everything.
