Pros- location and spacious than other NYC hotels. Really great service from most employees. Toiletries smelled really nice. Cons- receptionist this morning 2/17 was very awkward and abruptly asked us to check out. We were leaving anyway but the interaction was uncomfortable. This was odd as the rest of the hotel staff was the complete opposite and very welcoming. The hotel won’t warn you about policies important to them until you check out, not before you check in. As a guest, I don’t intentionally want to break policy and a warning or notice would have been sufficient and helpful to both parties. Communication should have been their priority especially if it’s a policy not advertised very well. Ordered avocado toast for room service too. Toast was burnt. I asked for egg whites and the

We booked the penthouse unit from Modernhaus SoHo to celebrate our anniversary. It was a fantastic experience. The room is super spacious with a great city view from all angles. The real gem of this room is the mattress that we must mention, a high end Hastens mattress. This stay seems the only chance we could experience the Hastens mattress for the entire night. ||Friendly staff, very clean, convenient locations etc. Nothing you could blame. Whether you are traveling NYC for a short stay or looking for a special experience like we do, I would highly recommend this hotel.

We chose this hotel as we wanted to stay somewhere local without being in the centre of the hubbub of Times Square - and what a great choice we made! The room was lovely and clean and true to size from the photos online. The view was also really nice which was an added bonus. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful with any queries we had. We didn’t get to visit the rooftop bar and at the time of our visit in November, the hotel’s main restaurant was under refurbishment. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit NYC!

My first time staying at ModernHaus SoHo and absolutely loved it. The hotel, staff, service, breakfast menu, decor, everything. Would love to experience in the summer months to get full experience with outdoor terraces and rooftop. Definitely on my list for repeat performance! Highly recommend.
