Mission Bay Motel

I really wanted to enjoy my stay , The staff had been really nice in accommodating my check-in, but when it came time to actually fall asleep, I am up currently at one in the morning writing this because I’ve been laying in this bed for the last three hours, trying to fall asleep and couldn’t whether it was due to the insane traffic noise from the road or whether it was due to drunk people yelling at each other or from the loud upstairs guest. I stayed in the room, but unfortunately it is right next to the main road and there’s no insulation whatsoever between the road and the room and it felt like everybody and everything was in the room and it was extremely extremely loud. I have work in a few hours and was not able to get proper sleep because of how loud this area is. Unfortunately, yes

No fridges, microwaves, or phones in rooms- to save a possibly inconvenient surprise. 3200/mo is a decent price for motels in the area, and it certainly wasn't busy or noisy, but check in is fast, and the employee was quite pleasant for a hotel front desk person, sparing the phoney shrill gauntlet of some large chains' required interactions.

We spent three perfect nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The room was spacious and immaculate. The location is ideal. We love walking across the street for smoothies and a walk on the beach. This is my favorite place to stay. Staff was absolutely lovely. We can’t wait to return.

This place is crap. No TV, outlets do not work, no phone, or WiFi. The door to the room doesn’t even close properly. This place is a dump. The only good part is the location to the beach.

This hotel is NOTHING special. Small bathrooms and showers, basic TV, and a pool. Small pillows and can have hard beds. However, its lack of amenities and beauty, makes up for in location and price! I have been going to the hotel for over 25 years. I go to MB for the beach, not the resorts! Thank you for being amazing and affordable! You are awesome!
