Miriam Hotel

Well, I've been here about 15 minutes and think I should find a different hotel. For starters, the outside has weeds growing everywhere up to 4 feet tall. You can see busted out screens on the windows and drapes barely hanging. Once inside the lobby, it is dark like half of the lights don't work. The desk person barely said two words to me. I get checked in no problem, grab my stuff, and head to room 206. On the way, I see dirt, debris and food crumbs all over in the hallway. The elevator had part of a hamburger bun on the floor and more food crumbs. My room is worse. There appears to be a blood spot on the bathroom floor. A piece of trim wood is standing upright in the corner. The towel rack is falling off the wall. A light fixture is barely hanging on. The carpets are stained and dirty.

Avoid this area. Rooms were disgusting to say the least. $200 for a janky hotel, no breakfast, no nothing.. I don’t know how they’re still in business. Cig burns on blanket, dirty hair tie in shower, dirty sheets and floor. Broken phone.

The location was extremely sketchy, there seem to be people living out of their cars in the parking lot. They were also most likely freely going in and out of the hotel because the side door was propped open with a rock for the entirety of the two days I was there despite my repeated attempts to remove it. The pool was empty and closed off, the dining area was completely abandoned. I don’t think they advertise a breakfast, but it looks like there used to be one and there definitely isn’t now. The hallway and the room itself were very poorly cleaned: there were a bunch of bottle caps on the floor behind the bedside table and the bathroom was full of someone else’s hair. Do not rent a room from here!!!! Smoking in the hallway, and in the bedrooms! Asbestos popcorn ceilings that are cracking. Stains in bathtub, on coach, on bed, on pillow cases! Odd noises in the night. Bismarck needs to inspect and fine them for noncompliance to general safety standards.

We was charged 2x's the original deposit. Others reservations were overlooked, or recharged. Bc obviously we as customers talk to one another about the price and fairness while living at hotels. Overall, it's a clean place that's out of the way.
