Millers Lane Campground

I went to check out possible camp sites and the park was very quiet and seemed to have quite a few open spots for a Satuday. ( It almost was eerie) The park was clean and camp sites ample for space. The canopy of trees offered much shade from the hot sun. The water was quite a bit lower than I had remembered it from a few years back. The lake looked inviting (from the road), but once you got closer, not so much. There were a few families fishing and kayaking, but no one swimming. Algae and water weeds from the entrance of water to about 30 ft out. ( you know the kind of weeds that grow under water and grab your legs when your swimming?) No thanks

This campground is just past the Southwest Shore campground! There's access to the trail and lake at the end of the campground. There's plenty of room between sites, and it's dog friendly, so bring your fur baby, but make sure to keep them under your control so as not to disturb everyone else!
