Mill Stream Inn

Loved the Mill Stream Inn! It has a comfortable, homey, neighborly aesthetic. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and respectful. The cookies and popcorn in the lobby are such a charming touch, and the continental breakfast was nice. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there were plenty of outlets. And the surrounding area is so beautiful! The mountain and stream are right behind the inn, and very picturesque. The hiking paths were iced over, so I couldn't take advantage, but I would definitely come back to do so. I came up for stargazing at the Cherry Springs State Park nearby, but my plans were spoiled by cloudy, snowy weather. An impromptu after Thanksgiving getaway with my wife. What a great adventure! Millstream Inn was fabulous! The room was very comfortable and super clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. With complimentary homemade cookies, popcorn, and fountain beverages, they couldn't be more accommodating... We had hoped to check out Cherry Springs dark skies, but lake effect snow squalls had other plans for us ! We'll be back!

We checked in a little late and were greeted by a very competent and friendly woman who later quickly responded to a TV problem. The daily cookies were available at 7 PM and looks like popcorn is popped all day. The room with 2 queens was clean and spacious with a small desk. All fine in the bathroom. The only negative was a minimal continental breakfast: bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs, cereal, coffee, tea, orange and apple juices, fruit; no meat. This is why I only did 4 stars. Nice gift shop. I would have no problem staying again.

Nice little hotel, dated but I stayed in 2 different rooms over a 2 week period and rooms were very clean. Receptionist was very friendly. Offer nice little perks like coffee All day fountain drinks fresh cookies and they have popcorn machine in the lobby.

This was a fantastic hotel. Check in was quick. Was offered amenities such as fresh baked cookies, popcorn, and a free soda fountain machine. The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The only reason I took one star away was the breakfast was pretty sparse. I made it work, but really options were bagels, English muffin, hard boiled eggs, cereal and one apple was left. Behind the hotel were beautiful views where we walked around a bit. There was plenty of seating outdoors.
