Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houma

The room I had was fine nothing too big or fancy. Despite staying one night I discovered there was no hot water and the phone did not work. The elevators and hallways smelled like the world’s biggest marijuna plant. I guess they don’t enforce rules and regulations for guests. There’s better rooms available elsewhere.

Great stay, staff extremely nice, pool was closed but room was clean and quiet. Hot coffee and healthy breakfast each morning. Excellent room view and they also accommodated for my request. Very happy with the experience

Everybody was very polite and courteous. We had our dog with us and everyone just loved him. The room was clean and comfortable will stay again. Wish pool has been up and running but they had a hurricane week before. We delayed coming cause of storm and had no problems.

There was no closets or drawers for clothes, no irons or ironing boards in the rooms. Very surprised! Rooms very clean and fresh, I commend the house cleaning staff. 5 stars!!!

The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff was wonderful. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Continental breakfast was good quality. However the rooms are tiny with paper-thin walls and zero storage - no dresser, closet, or bathroom counter space. Had to live out of suitcases and put toiletries on the toilet tank. Breakfast selection was very small and limited. Great for one night if you value cleanliness and good service over space and quiet. Not ideal for longer stays or light sleepers.
