Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Franklin

Front desk lady was very rude!! Treated us like second class citizens. No elevator just stairs. No mini fridge in room. Room phone does not work. Told her the phone doesn’t work. She said she can’t help us. Never had this problem at Holiday Inn express, Comfort Inn or Hampton Inn. First and last time in a Microtel Inn & suites! I have stayed in many motels/ Hotels all over the world. This has to be one of the worst!!!

PLEASE NOTE - this hotel has NO ELEVATOR!!! That is left off of the hotel info. This hotel has a tiny lobby, no seating, small desk with glass to talk thru, I do not think the lobby picture is the same hotel. The breakfast area is more like in a large closet. So overvalued for no elevator and teeny, tiny rooms with creepy mirrored wall to try to make it look bigger! The building is old and outdated. The floor mats were dirty and so were the stair wells. The ac did work well, but I could hear the unit coming on next to me and it sounded like the loud spin cycle in a washing machine with a buzz. |Only shampoo provided, no conditioner, did have a hairdryer. I paid $265, ridiculous, with a $45 pet fee. If you fall down the stairs trying to carry your things to your room, with a pet, not sure

Only thing ok about this hotel is location .The Mexican lady that works front desk has a nasty attitude. Rooms, have roaches, mildew, carpet nasty they half clean rooms. The room stanks, breakfast is eggs that have been frozen then set out. They put milk out at 6 am in a glass container. So if u come at 8am to get breakfast milk been sitting out since 6am. Breakfast is horrible, coffee horrible, no elevator, TV are out dated, wifi horrible, bed bugs, roaches, mice. It won't let me post video of mice. But please save your money's and find another Hotel. Had to call the environmental department on this Hotel. Sent videos and pictures to them

Positive: Cleanliness Negative: There was no coffee maker or microwave in the room. After talking to the Front Desk, we got moved to a different room. However, cups in the room and those at the breakfast area are foam cups which are not to be used for hot liquid. BF was very limited

The rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and available 24/7 with any help you might need. This is a good location to a lot of fast food restaurants and not too far from downtown.
