@ Michigan Inn & Lodge

I was in the area for some medical appointments. The hotel was clean, although a bit dated. The breakfast was hot with a good selection to choose from. The young man working the desk in the afternoon was very friendly, courteous, and made the check-in very smooth and pleasant. The desk person, Rob, was very helpful, friendly, and allowed me to get hot water while he was preparing the breakfast for the guests. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. It refreshing to see such customer oriented service and all staff should be commended on their customer service. Room were a little dated,, but with the customer service we received and the hospital rate they offer, I will definitely stay there again when in the area!

The room was clean & very comfortable. The reception desk was excellent. The location was very good, but the view so-so. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety but not much seating.

I Had an awful experience the last time we went there, before it got bought out it was awesome but I stayed there one time since it was bought out and the room was a mess, the bed sheet was disgusting along with stuff all over the bathroom including on the toilet, toilet paper, bathtub and floor. The janitor walked in on us in the room without knocking even with the do not disturb sign on the door, plus they started drilling in the room above us at 6:30 A.M. Told the lady behind the desk about our stay the next morning and she said she'd have the manager reach out to us and I never heard anything about it but now keep getting messages to leave a review so here it is.

The name of the hotel is now Baymont by Wyndham Petoskey. It has 2 separate buildings between US 131 and Anderson Rd. We stayed for 5 days in late August. The room was reasonably clean. The hotel does not do routine cleaning, refuse pickup and towel changes for multiple day stays unless it’s requested. Breakfast is available from 7-10 AM each day. There is not a cafe there for lunch, as previous reviews indicated. My stay was uneventful. I found it was not as good as some reviewers and not as bad as other reviewers but just average. There are two floors on each building and no elevators so could be difficult for some guests to use the second floors. The ice machine and cloths drier were not functioning in the north building but they were working on the south building. Vending machines

Nice place. Not updated like I believed it should have been. Staff was amazing. I had to fix faucet in bathroom. Toilet was so dirty, hair dust covered the bottom. Bmfree breakfast was okay. Probably wouldn't go there again.
