Holiday Inn Express & Suites Petoskey by IHG

I have stayed here a few times and enjoy the hotel very much. Staff is always great, rooms are awesome, enjoy the hot tub, the limo to downtown and back is always great. This time my review really is aimed towards the great people who work at the front desk. I was having a difficult time with a reservation that we will not discuss (the problem was nothing that anyone at this place had anything to do with) but the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful and are just great people. I can't say enough good things about your staff and how helpful they are.

Stayed for a spur of the moment girls trip. What's not perfect in the building and location is worth the staff. All I came in contact with was good at their jobs and did it with a smile. Very accommodating happy atmosphere. If they hated their job they were brilliant at hiding it. Will absolutely stay here again in the future. Good job guys. Thank you.

This is our 2nd stay here. We just retired from working on Beaver Island. When leaving the island for the winter and coming back for the spring, we would stay in Charlevoix because we had no idea what a marvelous hotel this is and well worth the short drive to stay somewhere that is super clean, fantastic breakfast, nice swimming pool, the friendliest front guest employees and all other employees too. The complimentary limousine really came in handy this time. Last time we didn't utilize it, but this time it was snowing like crazy and we had friends staying at the hotel too. Matt (driver) is very nice and so is the limo. Our room was OUTSTANDING! Positive: The view from the back of the hotel and pool area was surprisingly picturesque. Other than that, I’d have to say the best part of the trip was—without a doubt—checking out! Negative: I booked a 2 bedroom, 2 king bed suite for my family for a weekend. After checking in and taking our belongings to the room, we noticed that the room was only 1 bedroom king and a pull-out sofa bed. Fire alarm went off excessively, no towels.

I’m here for a wedding. I stayed two nights. Continental breakfast was good. The room was comfortable and I slept like a baby. My group was pretty loud, but you could not hear them through the thick walls at the hotel. Everything was very clean. The shower was hot and had a powerful spray. The receptionist was thorough and kind and the man cleaning up the continental breakfast area was quick and efficient. It was a great experience.
