Mesa Moon Inn & Suites

This place was great! It had nice character, a cozy little room that was able to fit a queen and full bed without feeling cramped. It was cozy and perfect. The staff were really nice to help me check in late, though usually it would be a self-checkin with a text sending you your room entry code. This also helped alleviate the panic of leaving my room key locked someplace which was a welcome change. The only thing I missed about "normal" hotel room was a bathtub, as so many places have, but honestly this was perfect for what I needed this night! There were also so many wonderful little touches that are lacking elsewhere, like earplugs, a white noise machine, and real towels instead of those horrible hotel towels. All greatly appreciated. Great location. Very clean. The property had clearly been recently updated. Room was comfortable. Everything worked fine, though AC unit was too noisy for a light sleeper like me to run all night. Outside spaces seemed to be geared toward smokers, but looked very comfy. With virtual checkin and electronic lock on the door, we had no contact with proprietors until next morning. That may be good for those that prefer less human contact. Not many choices in Cedaredge, but this is a good one.

We stayed in a two room suite and it was perfect in every way. The Mesa Moon has been lovingly updated with themed rooms, insanely comfortable beds, thick, yummy towels and the on site owners are so helpful and friendly. Our suite included a kitchen with everything you need to cook a great meal, and the plush couch even had two recliners! The owners Karen and Randy go above and beyond to ensure that you enjoy your stay. If you’re looking for a safe, clean, and all around wonderful place to stay this is it! The outdoor spaces include a huge picnic table, large fire pit area with great seating, and a porch swing! The grocery store is right next door and there are great restaurants within walking distance. Five stars all around!

I've really enjoyed the renovated motel trend, especially around Colorado and enjoyed adding Mesa Moon to our list. We were traveling from Denver to Moab, and took a detour to see the Grand Mesa National Forest. Mesa Moon met our needs for a cozy hotel at a great value. If we find ourselves back in Cedaredge, we'd stay here again.

This motel boasts fantastic curb appeal and is very clean. The comfortable beds ensured a great night's sleep, and the location is super convenient. And the cherry on top? Having an ice cream shop right on site was such a treat! Everyone I encountered was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about making my stay a good one. I'd definitely recommend this motel!
