Grand Mesa Lodge

We stayed in cabin 5. Rustic, but modern gas stove for cooking and furnace kept us warm. Some might choose to bring an extra blanket if they are always cold. We went cross country skiing at the Grand Mesa County line area, 2 minutes away. Gentle rolling, beautiful scenery, well marked trails and free! No internet in the cabin, but we loved playing cribbage. Overall, a great wintertime get away!

We had a lovely stay in Cabin 5. The cabin was the perfect size for 2 adults and a kid. The faucets and shower had hot water right away, there were plenty of warm quilts, and staff kept the access road plowed. Dinner (even a kids menu!) and drinks at the lodge were a hit. They even had live music one night! Thanks for a such a fun stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Cabin 10 at Grand Mesa Lodge. The kitchen was well equipped, and the cabin was perfect for a cozy board game and puzzle-filled weekend away. We added the bath house and really enjoyed the hot tub. We did have some issues getting the sauna to heat up properly, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. The XC ski trails were excellent and very well maintained, which made this an ideal winter getaway. We enjoyed it so much that we plan to come back every year for a winter escape. Highly recommend!

Second year at the cabins for skiing and it was awesome once again. Great location for nordic ski access, helpful staff, peace and quiet + a wood stove (not sure if those are in all the cabins) = a great getaway. Hot tub house looked nice and will check that out next time.

I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Mesa Lodge in Cedar Ridge, Colorado. Cabin 12 was tucked away in a peaceful, private spot with a great location and easy access to a beautiful trail leading down to the lake. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery. I also had the chance to take part in their Thanksgiving Day dinner, which meant a lot to me. This was my first Thanksgiving living in Colorado after a recent move, and with my kids back in Indiana, the holiday felt a bit different this year. The warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious meal made the day feel special, and I’m truly grateful for the experience. I’d definitely recommend the lodge and look forward to coming back.
