Merrion Row Hotel and Public House

The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was very nice! I booked 2 queens, and they were definitely queen sized, not doubles. Still plenty of room even with 2 queens. There is limited closet space, and the bathroom is a little small but definitely still usable. Did not have any issue with bed bugs, and our room was serviced every day. Which included 2 free water bottles every day. The beds were pretty comfortable, and so were the pillows. The shower was difficult to figure out, but between the 3 of us, we got it alright. Some cons of staying there, no free breakfast but they did give us $25 vouchers to use every day for their public house restaurant. I was by myself when I checked in, and the front desk agent said my room number out loud which could've been really bad had there been someon

My mom, teenage daughter, and I spent five nights at Merrion Row Hotel between Christmas and New Years. What a cute, historic boutique hotel right in the middle of everything!||Pros: LOCATION! Walking distance from most of the major sites in Manhattan and a short subway or Uber ride from the rest. Hotel is clean and updated with a historic, charming feel. We had fresh linens and beds made every day. Service was awesome, staff was super hospitable giving it more of a b&b vibe. Food vouchers were great --- we used them for midday apps, afternoon teas, and dessert delivered to our room.||Cons: Location also means more noise at all hours. Excellent value for a great hotel. 10 minute or less walk to most major broadway shows. Somehow is right next to times square and still relatively quiet at night. Food and service was excellent, they also give a one time per day use, generous discount on food and drink if you’re staying the night. The deli and Irish bar next door are great as well. Gf and I got snowed in for 3 extra days here and weren’t mad about it at all. Staff was super friendly, helpful, and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone. Has to be one of the better bang for your buck stays near the theatre district.

We loved our stay here! The hotel is in a convenient location, and the room was super clean with cozy elegant decor and very comfortable beds. The icing on the cake was the hotel staff. Every single person we encountered went out of their way to ensure that our visit was amazing. We ate in the Public House several times during our trip and enjoyed every meal. We look forward to staying at the Merrion Row Hotel in the future!

We stayed at Merrion Row Hotel and it was absolutely amazing. The location is perfect—about a 5-minute walk to Times Square and 9 minutes or less to Rockefeller Center, which made everything so easy, especially with kids. The hotel was extremely clean, and the front door staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. They truly made the stay feel special. The only small suggestion would be adding a soft mattress pad to the sofa couch for extra comfort. That said, it was easy to overlook because the staff and overall experience were truly perfect. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-located, and welcoming hotel in NYC.
