Mayfair Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

This hotel was awesome. It was in a great location. The rooms were clean. A little part of the floor looked like it was glued together instead of it being fixed. Other than that, it was perfect. I went a week before Christmas. The coffee and tea section in the lobby was perfect for after coming back to the hotel. The staff was great and friendly. Simone, Luis, Rennan and Karoline were fabulous. They took great care of me. I didn’t need very much but when I needed something they took care of it right away. I’m sorry for posting this late. Thank you for the great stay and I would definitely stay here again when I come back to NYC.

The location is excellent (Theatre District) and the hotel is secure. The room was clean and had nice toiletries (even a makeup remover hand-towel). The room was absolutely quiet, the room temperature perfect, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable (That is saying a lot because whenever I can, I bring a small chiropractic travel pillow). Bonus: You can find great coffees and pastries at the end of the block to start your morning (though there is basic coffee in the lobby as well).

Comfortable enough for one person, bed, pillows & towel were soft and comfortable. Huge tv & refrigerator is always a plus.|Catalina (who checked me in Sunday) & housekeeper & manager all have excellent customer service. Other staff could be a little friendlier and better listeners i hate to say.|Food Emporium (grocery store) right across the street, Times Square very close.|Only downside is shower & sink are very small.|Would definitely stay again.

Have stayed here twice —great experiences both times. Rooms are clean and very comfortable, bathrooms are stocked, front desk staff is friendly, the location is nearly perfect too. There was some construction noise right next door last time I stayed but nothing some white noise couldn’t help. It’s becoming my go-to stay for solo trips for sure 👍

The room was small and compact. It was clean. The customer service from the staff was great, so I have no complaints about that. The location was perfect for the New Years Eve Ball Drop, which was within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as CVS and a grocery store, if needing to get items for your room. There’s also a liquor store a block or so over too, which that store is very reasonably priced. The room was stocked with hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, which is a rarity at some other hotels I have been at. The overall feel of the hotel has a vintage, modern ambiance, which adds to the appeal. The elevator is giving 1800’s vibes, as far as the size is concerned.
