Marriott's Fairway Villas

We rented three 2-bedroom suites at Marriott’s Fairway Villas over Super Bowl weekend — right in the middle of snow and freezing temperatures — and had a great experience. The property is extremely well maintained. Despite the weather, the sidewalks, parking lots, and roads were all easily passable and clearly well cared for. The villas themselves were very clean and well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, plates, and utensils — perfect for a long weekend stay. The outdoor screened-in porch was a really nice touch, even in the winter. We especially loved the indoor pool and hot tub — a huge plus given the cold weather. Looked for a short getaway for my wife’s birthday. With all the snow, ice, and cold temperatures it was nice to just be somewhere different. As Marriott owners we booked at the Marriott in Galloway, NJ. We had no expectation and were extremely happy with our stay. The resort was great from A to Z. The staff was attentive and very friendly. We even had a great conversation with the DO, John. He spent a few minutes talking to us and was very welcoming. He definitely runs a great operation here. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pool area was well taken care of warm considering the cold weather. This is home away from home. Two bedroom villas are fully equipped with all necessities of home. Beautifully manicured grounds that sits on a golf course. Indoor pool for fall and winter. Very friendly staff and a great place to vacation with the shops of Smithville in your back yard and Atlantic City 20 minutes away. Definitely coming back next year.

Positive: The convenience of having a kitchen and plenty of space. Negative: The beds were not comfortable.

Very nice two bedroom units with king size beds. Some of the furniture is starting to show it's age as are the dishwashers. The resort and rooms are clean and have recently paved roads. Maintenance was very quick to change out our main TV due to a failing backlight in less than an hour, start to finish. Check-in was very fast. Had a nice stay and good breakfast places very close. Fun stay.
