Customer Reviews
I had a wonderful stay at the MarQueen Hotel in Seattle. The service was truly outstanding from start to finish. Jeremiah at the front desk went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed and made the entire experience feel welcoming and easy. When we had a small issue with the heater in our room, the staff responded immediately and fixed it right away. They even gave us a $25 gift card to the restaurant connected to the hotel as a thoughtful apology, which was completely unexpected and very appreciated. It’s rare to find a place that combines charm with such attentive service. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seattle.
It is an attractive historic hotel, and for its age it is well maintained and clean. The staff was outstanding and very helpful and friendly. The bathroom fixtures have been upgraded (see photo). However, the towels provided looked like moths had decided they could eat cotton (see photo). And then I have an issue with their description of a "corner" room, with a view of the Space Needle. It may be the room closest to the corner of the building, but it's NOT on the corner. There is a stairwell between the room and the corner so its view is just like any other hallway room (see photo). Yes I could see the Space Needle, but only if I stood at the far right of the window farthest to the right in the room and looked as far left as I could (see photo). It's the misleading description/adv
Positive: Valet serviceman was great Negative: This Hotel was under construction during our stay. I was not informed of this. Front desk was not friendly or welcoming.
Gorgeous!!! remodeled hotel overall. We stayed in the Mercer suite and it was very cute and cozy for V-day. If you are into the vintage vibes, this is the place for you—old timey heaters on the floor, no closing shower door, the doormen(great guys!!), no elevators, down to the music played in lobby and lounge, it was a beautiful experience. We were able to check in early ($50 fee FYI) i forgot to get the names of any staff, but everyone was accommodating and helpful. (one of them drew on a map to help direct us to a beer hall) the cafe next door is a real treat too!
We were scammed. We paid the entire amount online. On check-in they asked for a card for incidentals. Then after we left they kept the hold amount and it suddenly became "amenity fee". The website clearly says all fees included. Refused to do anything about it. We'll see. Decor is cute. Has no elevator for rooms on third floor, no water or ice on any floor except the lobby. Lot of noise from the street.
