Marco Polo Motel

Great, no-nonsense motel. The room had everything I needed, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s close to bus stops with direct routes to downtown Seattle, about a 30-minute ride. My only issue is the location next to a busy road, which is to be expected for a motel. However, the rooms aren’t very soundproof, so you can hear traffic from inside. I brought earplugs, so it wasn’t a big problem for me. For the price, I’d definitely stay here again.

The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful at check-in. We got there early, at about 12:30PM, so I wasn't expecting a room to be ready yet, but he had the nice cleaning man fix our room up quickly and let us use the bathroom while we waited. All that was a plus because the service was great. Not much else positive can be said. The shower was old and moldy, in desperate need of renovation. The area was remote with very little in the way of services.

This is a nice little motel for a night or two. We decided last minute to go to Seattle for a UW game and this place was available, very affordable, located right on Aurora, yet not too noisy. The front desk staff were very nice and responsive. We walked only about a block and a half to catch the bus to the U. The shower wasn't great, and there was a space heater because the regular heater didn't work. But we were comfortable for the quick trip.

I stayed at the Marco Polo Motel for about 2 weeks. It was a great stay here! It is very close distance to Downtown Seattle, as well as other Suburban Seattle Places. The Seattle Orca Public Transportation System makes it easy for travel without a car. The room was clean. The room has a good amount of space with a TV, a good bathroom, and WiFi. I would recommend this Motel to anyone that is looking to visit Seattle, WA.

Great little motel not far from downtown and a few minutes from the Geocaching HQ. Loved the free parking and free wifi. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed and couch, plus we could see Mount Rainier from our window. The room included a small coffee machine and free coffee, though the office also has free coffee. The only downside was that you can hear the cars on Hwy 99 from the rooms. That didn't bother me, but I know for some it would be a deal-breaker. Great value for the price, and friendly employees! I will be staying here on my future Seattle trips.
