Lagonita Lodge

Great location!! Can’t beat it! Love that there is a fireplace and kitchen in each room. We’ve been staying here for years and it’s always been the same carpet, sofas, and throw pillows. After this stay I felt the ick.. throw pillows and sofa felt dirty along with the tan blanket in the sofas bed bag. Idk how often these blankets and comforters are washed / replaced? Management, Please respond in the comment below.. my daughter had a rash on her neck and arms after sleeping w the tan blanket. Please put some money into this place that could help a true gem!! The age is showing of this place.

Do not book Lake View room!!! I have stayed here before and booked a few rooms here but when I booked the Lake View room this time I received a room with parking lot views(lake view from one cushion on the couch), multiple light switches not working including the first one inside the front door so when I arrived at night my family is stumbling in the dark, alternating scalding to cold water in the shower(not easy bathing a child), spider webs with dozens of dead bugs, undrinkable cloudy sink water, and just overall disappointment. To be fair the last vacation I booked here was perfect but this time it was just a disaster. Do not book "Lake View" room. On their website the Lake View room says the room includes a Lake View.

My fiancé and I went away for the weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional hospitality and amenities of this hotel. Everything they offer is WELL worth the price and at an incredible location as well. 10/10 for sure making this a regular vacation spot

The rooms were nice and cozy. The kitchen was basically complete with what you needed. And nice arranged. We made breakfast and dinner for all 10 of us. Perfect sized dining table and bar so everybody could eat together. And nice patio to enjoy sunrise and coffee!!

We love Lagonita Lodge, we try and make a trip out every year and this place is great! Nice heated pool with hot tub. Easy lake access. Close to all big bear has to offer. Great location!
