MainStay Suites Newnan Atlanta South

Positive: Great staff, family enjoyed the breakfast variety Negative: Our room had roaches. One dead on the floor when we first entered, the next night a large live one was seen and smooshed. The mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable.

My family was intown for a family reunion so we picked this hotel because of the kitchenette. Turns out my wife decided not to cook anything but instead bought a bucket. I will admit the the road noise from Bullsboro Drive was loud in our room but other than that the room was acceptable. We did have one incident that I want bring praise to. My wife had left her Columbia jacket in the room at check out and we returned to the hotel a few hours later before returned home to retrieve the jacket. They could not find the jacket and I thought that we would never see that jacket again. The front desk worker on Sunday December 28 around 3 in the afternoon promised that she would find the jacket and mail it to us and later that week, she kept her word. Ms. Dottie, Ms Patricia, Eric, and Kayla were amazing! Very helpful and professional. We stayed there during my son’s wedding events and very pleasantly surprised at the hospitality. My son’s, now in-laws, live in the area so we will definitely book our next visit there at Mainstay Suites! Everything was clean. The service was impeccable! A++++ experience. Thank you

My boyfriend and I came to Georgia for a week. Decided to stay here. Housekeeping is a joke. When I asked for new towels i was told "I'm in a meeting go and wait out front." Lady was on the phone with her boyfriend not even an actual meeting! I, personally, had to clean the room. Not once did they offer to gather garbage or any type of room service. Nobody was ever at the front desk. They always left a note that said "stepped away for awhile." I will NEVER recommend staying here. The location is wonderful, but if I'm on vacation I don't expect to do jobs that I'm not being paid for! Will not stay ever again!

The place was nice, but the content smell of weed(illegal drug)on our floor, behind the property and in the elevator, was off putting. In addition the room did have the appearance of roaches in electrical sockets. 2 separate occasions during our stay, goodness knows how many are running around in general.
