MainStay Suites Greenville Airport

Booked a room on a corporate account online and called to make sure there was semi truck parking. The Indian woman said yes just pull around the building. I asked her if she was sure because I’m 80’ long with my truck and trailer. I get there and see there is no way to get in her parking lot. I was gonna park next door and just check in. She was so rude telling me I booked for the wrong day and she could change the date but needed a $150 deposit. Rolling her eyes at me. I told her off and left. Very unprofessional and rude. I refuse to spend my money at a place that treats people like this. Complete trash. Do better your in America now!

My sisters and I stayed here December 25-29. The staff was good however not the hotel. The maintenance guy had to fix our closet rack because we couldn't hang up our clothes, the refrigerator went out so the ice cream we had in the freezer melted (the desk staff allowed my daughter to get an ice cream from their mini store and the next day they replaced the fridge), the microwave had some type of electrical issue because it turned on all throughout the night and to top it off we were bitten by BEDBUGS on our arms, neck and chest. We were moved on Saturday night to a different room on the same floor. We checked out Sunday night and have tried reaching out to the manager but no response. I left a note before leaving and called back multiple times leaving my name and phone number.

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Couple minor cleaning issues would vastly improve room quality. For example: dusting the overhead lamp in kitchenette. Guests expect to eat there not have dust falling into food. Our room seemed in need of multiple minor repairs & updating, but overall it was on par for the price point.

Ok. So dude who pays for 2 nights pays one security deposit and dude who pays for one night and then adds another night in the morning has to pay two security deposits. Oh. Totally not right. I got $300 dollars in security deposits tied up in this empty hotel which lost all of its business for said reason. Hmm. Better not breathe in this room. Matter of fact just leave so I don't get blamed for anything.

I picked this MainStay Suites in Greer due to the close proximity to the Greenville-Spartanburg airport. We had an early flight and felt the need to be closeby. With that said, I am unable to give this hotel the 5 star rating that would be easily attainable. I will say we stayed on the first floor, access to the lobby and parking lot is very easy. I felt the hotel was secure, and quiet. We did hear the tenants above our room, but that is common in many places. My two complaints are this; I asked on Saturday for ONE extra bath towel for my hair. The front desk was unable to give me one because they were ALL OUT OF TOWELS. She said there would be no one to provide a towel until Monday. Secondly, they offer a complimentary breakfast. They faire was sparse to zero. There were TWO t
