290 RV Park

I've been at this park for YEARS. It's the only place I feel comfortable leaving my RV for extended periods of time while I'm away. The site host is spectacular at watching over everyone and keeps the park looking NICE!! It's super quiet here and there's many upgrades happening that will improve the park even more! I especially like the fire pit area and the security. It's also nice that my packages that arrive are safely kept in a protected cabinet and the owners are really lovely to know!! I feel lucky to have found 290 RV Park!

After reading "k" review, I decided to leave a review. Dogs are allowed to potty anywhere on the MANY lush green grass areas in the park as long as you clean it up immediately. The dog park is for off leash fun like throwing a ball and playing chase or socializing with other dogs if all is friendly. K came into the park with a 1980 something RV that was so ran down that it didn't even have power. She tried to hook it up to the parks meter and my RV converter started buzzing it was THAT BAD!! She needed a new converter and a new power cord but wanted to do all the wiring herself without replacing when she didn't know how to do it which is very dangerous!! She's lying by saying all she had to do was buy a power cord. The owners of this park was right in kicking her out immediately. Afterwar

I didn't read the other reviews until I had already booked. So I didn't honestly have high expectations. Got there and it was a little nicer than I thought. The trains are no joke. My grandma lived between 2 train track and near a rock quarry but that was nothing compared to the screeching brakes a couple of times an hour. But I was willing to deal. We had an issue with our 50 amp shore power cord. Something that I was about to get in the car and buy a new one when I was told by the owner that I needed to unhook my water and sewage and leave until I got an electrician to fix my cord bc that wasn't something that can be bought. It's a 50amp shore power cord that Amazon could have for me there tomorrow if I couldnt find one at the many rv stores local. There are several other rv parks very

I really enjoyed my stay at 290 RV Park. The facilities are well maintained. Penny, the site manager, was so helpful and friendly as were the owners. I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a clean, safe and conveniently located RV park.

It’s a love hate relationship honestly. The town is known for their train ports so you expect it, but this is a whole new level of learning trains lol. It’s not like the people there are bad. I wouldn’t go back just because of the trains being so active and being to close to a crossing, so the train starts blowing its horn right at the site (you can hear it loud and clear in the camper). We were on one of the sites that were farthest away from the tracks but I couldn’t imagine being the campers 100ft from the tracks (I tried to get a picture to show). They make you sign a contract whether it’s a week or a month etc. and that states no refunds and they mean it when they say it, which I could see why. I stay home full time so I got to really know the trains well and they come by frequently
