Hampton Inn Greer Greenville

Located right on Main Street - this was a very convenient place for us as we had business in several parts of Greer. Note: the road into the property is divided -- if you need to go left out of the hotel lot, you must turn right and immediately turn right again to go around the block. This brings you out at a stoplight so you can make the left safely. Our room was good size and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of hot and food on offer and Tina, the morning breakfast manager greeted us personally. She made sure we had everything we needed and was a bright and pleasant addition to our morning! Overall a pleasant and convenient stay. We'll recommend for our fellow travelers!

Positive: Location and cleanliness. Negative: Room 103 has a faulty ac unit that was so loud, it would wake you up from your sleep. I recorded the sound and presented it to the staff and they could not believe how loud the unit is.Supposedly, the staff vowed to take care of the problem, we'll see.

Outside noise is prevalent. You will most certainly hear the train whistle, emergency vehicle sirens, clock chimes and loud car radios / mufflers.||Coincidentally I was locked out of my room and the onsite maintenance personnel could not get me into my room. A call was made to the head maintenance person who is being summoned to the hotel to see what can be done. Awaiting to see how it will be resolved.

My friend and I are travelers we flip cars for a living and we had our truck and trailer with us. At first, it was difficult for us to park for anyone else. It’ll be easy. They have a parking garage within the hotel. But with a truck and trailer, he parked about a good block away, but I first asked hotel staff and went to the police department if this was OK and that was a yes. It’s in a very safe part of town feels like a nice small town quiet at night safe to walk police nearby. Police even fly a drone around, which is great. But this review is not about that. This review is about Mr. Ryan. He is hotel staff at the front desk, amazing gentlemen we were very tired. He was able to get us two rooms next to each other with a great view, letting us know all the amenities letting us know he’

Came into Greer Hampton Inn which we have stayed at numerous times, and why we come back is because it is clean, staff helpful and friendly. Our stay was to facilitate doctor appointment I have with doctors in this area since we lived here for over 5 years. Past 2 plus years come back couple times each year to see my doctors, and this location works very well for us, see old friends, stay with doctors you trust, and ask for a noon checkout which never is refused, why? So I make my appointments based on that logic. Checked in last night, asked about the noon checkout, and as always was told no problem, just let them know in the morning. Well requested the noon checkout vs 11am, and told can't do it? Hotel may have been half full, and then very nice and spacey sitting area, and not allowed t
