Maingate Kissimmee Hotel

Beautiful hotel, been there long time and has had multiple makeovers. I think whoever added this listing typed up wrong address because it shows its not. They're wrong. I am staying to tonigh..

My check in time was 3pm when I tried to check in I was told the system was down and I had to wait another hour. I checked in at 4pm went to the room and as soon as I opened the door the smell hit me! I seen a huge stain on the floor. I started to record picked my bags up and went right back downstairs to the office and told them there is no way I’m staying in that room and I DIDNT! DO NOT WASTE EVEN A DOLLAR AT THIS DISGUSTING HOTEL!!! I took a 5 min video of how disgusting this room was and why I didn’t want to stay here. The manager Emily offered me a full refund and told me she understood and to email her my name and why I didn’t want to stay. I did what she asked and I still have not received my refund. I’ve talked to another manager Estell and she hung up in my face. I was then told

They charge 18% service fee in restaurant. Ice machine did not work on 4th or second floors. Very difficult to get a baggage cart. Rooms extremely modest. Most of the help staff speak only Spanish. Not resort type hotel

Red lion is a good hotel if you have kids, they have a pool with slides and a lazy river, the rooms are clean and nice and even have a bar and hot tub for the adults 5 out of 6

I travel a lot for work and spend many nights in hotels each month in the same price range but not so nice accommodations. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. I can't comment on the pools because we didn't use them. My only negative was how slippery the floor in the bathroom and outside the bathroom was when we got out of the shower. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.
