Macon West Hotel

Our experience here was awful. It is a good option for a place to stop on the way to Disney, but that would be it. For starters, the floors were so dirty, and the bathroom in our hotel room was disgusting. The ice machine and pool were both not working. The free breakfast was poor quality and extremely dry. The walls in this hotel are paper thin, and you can hear everything, which is difficult if you are traveling with children who are light sleepers. There was a woman who appeared to be intoxicated that just sat on the couch in the lobby for an entire day. The only reason I did not go somewhere else was because I booked 4 nights, and would not get a refund. Lastly, the gentlemen running the hotel was nice, but the other staff members were unfriendly. Stay here at your own risk.

The staff are very friendly, polite and courteous. The staff who do the room cleaning are very thorough. They never miss a thing my room has been cleaned and tidied up every day. I am so impressed with the service and hospitality. It would be worth your time to make a reservation at this hotel if you are traveling through.

Service is always lovely. Rooms are spotless and spacious. Our favorite to stay as far as hotels.

I really like the size of the rooms, bed is very comfortable and it's very peaceful. I'm very pleased with the price also. Only bad thing was the breakfast not a lot to choose from and the eggs were terrible. The room wasn't clean at all their was still soap in the shower stall. Bathroom is very small. Other then that I was pleased with the staff and the spacious rooms for the price.

This was a last minute stop for us, they had a room available, were affordable and friendly. Our room was clean, had all the amenities we needed and a nice sized towel. My kids of course wanted to get into the pool, it wasn't warm but they were happy enough with it. Breakfast was more than I had ever seen at a continental. I see complaints about the eggs but I had never even seen eggs available at a continental breakfast.
