Macon Marriott City Center

Went here for a work conference. There were multiple large events going on and their parking lot was not able to accommodate for that many people. I feel like the hotel overbooked. Our conference had a large amount of women and no one was tending to the restrooms. There should have been a bathroom attendant consistently checking with that many women. The restrooms had no toilet paper, soap and the trash was spilling over.

I recently stayed at Marriott, and I had an amazing experience, thanks in large part to the fantastic service I received from Melanie at the front desk. From the moment I walked in, Melanie was warm, welcoming, and professional. She made my check-in process so smooth and quick, and she was very attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Her friendly attitude truly set the tone for my entire visit. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to providing excellent service, and Melanie definitely made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you get the chance to be assisted by Melanie! Thank you again for making my experience so memorable!

A solid, if pricey hotel in Macon. It is 15/20 min walk to downtown, but a difficult walk, due to having to cross a highway junction and an underpass. It’s OK in the day, but walking to downtown at night is pretty impossible. |The staff are exemplary, with a mention of Jordan at the front desk. A professional, engaged, very helpful and accommodating young man…the hotel is lucky to have him. Breakfast and bar staff, too, are all top notch in attitude and personality. The breakfast is good, but not worth the $18 per person. As is becoming the norm, parking is charged in their huge own car park, where it was previously free. $10 per day.|Rooms were adequate, but the noise on the 8th floor from the bathroom extractor fan, ( which didn’t turn off, ) and the general din of the air con machinery

Positive: Clean, nice bathroom and amenities Negative: Noisy withb trains and semi trucks all night long. Couldn't get a wake up call because the front desk wouldn't answe the phone

I had a great stay at the Marriott Macon City Center. The best part was the service from all the staff. I had to wake up early for work each day and was always at the restaurant counter at 6 am, right when it opened, to get my morning latte. Latoya Meadows was always there on time, was very friendly, and always made a great latte! It was a great way to start my morning and very much appreciated it. Thanks, Latoya, and to the rest of the staff for a great stay.
