Lydia Johnson Inn-Hermann, MO: "A uniquely wonderful home. The rooms are cozy, comfortably decorated, impeccably clean and very well appointed with high quality bed linens and towels. You feel as comfortable as you are in your own home, with all the little necessities (Including Fridge). Betty & Chuck Hartbauer's breakfasts are delicious, enjoyed two wonderfully prepared breakfasts the table was pleasantly set. Betty & Chuck's service and conversation are very special, informative and well advised when looking for interesting and fun things to do and see in the Hermann area. The common areas are equally impressive and the property is very nice. We really enjoyed our time out on the front porch sipping wine and enjoying conversation in the evenings. We came to Hermann to see the Eclipse, and were fortunate enough to find the Lydia Johnson Inn for our place to stay for four nights. It was truly an amazing experience! Betty and Chuck make you feel so comfortable in their beautiful old home. It is spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast you are served is awesome, and beyond our greatest expectations! They are close to everything in Hermann, and help with recommendations of wonderful things to see in this lovely little town. It was so much fun, and makes regular Hotel stays quite boring! We highly recommend the Lydia Johnson Inn, and Betty & Chuck to give you that special experience! We hope to come back again on day.

My mother and I stay at a B&B almost every year for our annual Mother/Daughter trip together. So we have stayed at several over the years, and I can honestly say the Lydia Johnson Inn has one of the best breakfasts ever. Hot, delicious, filling, and with very attractive presentation! We ate there two mornings and both were excellent. Many "B&Bs" in Hermann do not cook breakfast for you--they give you a voucher to a nearby restaurant--so beware of that. If you want the true B&B experience, consider Lydia Johnson Inn. The grounds are immaculate, the house comfortable and super clean, with everything well maintained inside and out. Chuck and Betty are friendly without being intrusive. A plus for many would be that the two guest rooms are on the main floor. Guests have their own mini-fridge in

We spent two nights at the Lydia Johnson Inn on our travels biking USA. Chuck and Betty greeted us warmly on our arrival and showed us around their lovely home. The charming home was meticulous and the porches and grounds beautifully maintained and inviting. Our room was very comfortable and decorated with period pieces. They generously provided snacks and beverages for us to help ourselves. Chuck would be up early to start a pot of coffee and Betty prepared and presented a delicious breakfast. Chuck, an attentive host provided us with local information and was a joy to converse with. The Inn is conveniently located in the downtown area, easy to walk to shops and restaurants. We plan to return to Hermann and will chose and recommend the Lydia Johnson Inn. Thanks Chuck and Betty,

My friends and I stayed here for two nights and had the best time! Chuck and Betty are the best hosts! We were spoiled with wonderful breakfasts both days. They make you feel like you're at home. Their location is great and makes it easy to get anywhere in town. They gave us great advice on places to eat and visit. Any return trips will be booked with them.
