Spirit Hill Guest House

We were at Spirit Hill during Octoberfest. We love staying at this wonderful home. This is our third time staying there. The couple who own it are nice to work with. We had zero problems. We loved the firepit overlooking the river. It was a perfect weekend for it. We all enjoy the different suites. It is nice to each have our own bathroom. One thing I love about the place is that you think you have seen everything and around the corner you look up and there is another artsy token or picture. The decorating is so unique. Everything is in good working order and they have a well stocked kitchen. The only thing we missed was seeing Marsha and Gary this time.

My family has been meeting/staying at Spirit Hill Guest House every October for the last 9 years, it is by far the most beautiful house with the greatest views of Hermann and the river. Their gardens are enchanting and change every visit. The house is beautifully decorated and has all of the comforts you would expect. The owners Marsha and Gary make you feel like you are old friends and welcome you into their home. In additions they make great recommendations of new things to do or taste in the area. If you plan on staying in the Hermann area, you won't regret staying with them.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekday night. We biked to the Grand Bluffs Conservation Area, hiked to the top with a picnic, and then returned to our room at the Spirit Hill Guest House. Hermann is a charming German town surrounded by beautiful Missouri scenery, and this house was the perfect place to stay. There is an overlook of the Missouri River, beautiful gardens surrounding the house, plenty of amenities within the room to cook for yourself, and very friendly staff. The bathtub is huge... As someone who is 6'6'', it was the first bathtub I could fit in in years! Thanks for the great experience. Great price too.

This Guest Home has several different suites and is perfect for vacationing families, business or romantic get-aways. Luxurious and decorated with a peaceful relaxed ambiance. The gardens are made for meditation and peace. Most all of the suites have a beautiful river view, and the hosts are very accommodating. Every suite has a kitchen available, and easy access to the city of Hermann, Missouri. I was able to maintain a busy schedule while there, and yet feel relaxed and rested because of this beautiful home.

My sisters and I stayed in the Patio Suite for an extended weekend getaway. Very comfortable stay for the 3 of us as there was a hide-a-way bed in the sofa. This place had everything we needed, was immaculate, and beautifully decorated! There was even a selection of board games and books. The weather was so perfect during our stay we spent both evenings out late by the fire pit overlooking the river. Beautiful sunsets! Can't speak highly enough of the hospitality of the owners - fantastic stay! This will be my go-to place on future trips to Hermann.
