Customer Reviews
We rented cabin 11 (closest to the office) and our stay was great! The pricing was fair. The staff let us check in early and I am thankful for that! The office gave us a key in case we got locked out (because we did once🤣). We had 3 children and two adults and fit very comfortable in the cabin. The bathroom and shower were quite tiny, but the living room space and bedrooms were a decent size. It felt pretty clean in the cabin aside from the old, dusty windows. The porch was a nice amenity! We brought an air mattress for the living room and only used the futon as a couch. The playground was perfect for my toddler who exhausted me running up and down the lawn each day. The beach was pretty big this year and very comfortable water temperature! We walked down the beach all the way to the creek
Me and my Husband visit Luskys every summer with our best friends. We have never had a bad experience in all the summers we have stayed. Very family friendly and kid oriented. While we have no children ourselves it was not an issue for us and the Resort was very quite at night. Very nice for a 3-4 night get away right on the lake. Only suggestion I could make is not to forget to bring your own pillows. We are personally not fans of the ones proviede. Can’t wait to return next summer!
Wonderful place! We spent 4 nights there and I wish we would have had longer. Very cute cottage and our kids loved all the extras. We have two teenagers and a 9 year old and all 3 had a great time. The lake was gorgeous and the beach was very nice and clean. Very family friendly.
I stayed for 3 nights with family friends in cabin 6. I understand this property was built in the 1930s and is often booked back to back, but those facts don’t excuse the lack of comfort and accessibility, especially at $183/night. •Only one fire pit for all 11 cabins, so it’s often unavailable. •AC only in the bedroom, leaving the rest of the cabin like a sauna. •Do-it-yourself housekeeping, it was very dusty and cobweb-y. •The shower had visible glue holding the floor to the wall in the bedroom. •Thin, angled floors that creaked and felt unstable. •Guests must bring their own sheets, pillowcases, and towels despite the price. •Dumpster is up a steep driveway far from cabins—not accessible for elderly or disabled guests. •Only one parking spot per cabin, even for large, multi-room units.
Great place to take the family, so much stuff for the kids to do. They even had a movie night on a projector for everyone. Cabins could use an update, but we spent most of our time outside, so it wasn't too bad. The beach was wonderful.
