Blue Water Campground and Retreat Center

I went here last season for band camp, and honestly? It was the worst experience ever. The zero A/C made it rough on the excruciatingly hot days we went. Our sectionals were held in these shacks that looked as if they were falling apart. There were no student activites, and only one snack shack, which im pretty sure was funded by my band. We had multiple problems, including disgusting communal bathrooms, (according to the boys) unsafe bedding, and the water being shut off the entire morning on our third day, which is a problem during band camp. The rooms in the girls dorms (or what was used for fhe girls dorms for us) were horrible. Multiple windows in multiple rooms were cracked, which let in tons of bugs. My son had band camp there with Lakeland high school. Great facility. He enjoyed it very much.

Amazing place! Any group can rent from anywhere to one night or a week. Not an individual campers type of campgrpund though, must be with a group.

Having my band camp here this camp is so nice I’m in marching band I’m a freshman and I play trumpet so this camp is good for band camp or band related stuff
