Great Lakes Resort

Very cool experience if your a camper but terrible if you are a vendor. Horrible wedding experience, whenever we plugged in our dessert bar lights and such it kept blowing the fuse, there was no outlets to use, if it starts to rain yo I r pretty much screwed, there is almost no parking to accomdate a party more than 100 people, no lights on all of property which is so weird if your having outside events such as weddings. Area by the water for ceremonies, big wedding space but this was a terrible pain in the neck as a vendor. Vendor beware.

My family and I stayed here last week for our family reunion. This resort was absolutely perfect for our needs. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had been nicely updated. (We stayed here many years ago before it was taken over and updated and this is such an improvement!) Also having 2 bathrooms in the family suite was a big plus so I didn't have to fight for space with my teenage daughters. We all had the best time on the beach using the kayaks and paddle boards. There was plenty of outdoor space to relax and things to do for everyone. We will definitely be back!

I have stayed here in the past. I was just visiting today. The cabins have been renovated and updated very nicely. It has a great beach and a great view of the water. It has a ramp going down to the beach so you don’t have to take the stairs. It’s about 3 miles outside of downtown Lexington. Which has stores a country store wimpy burgers. Music in the park on Friday night. Cute little town.

We just had our wedding here this past weekend! We rented the entire resort for the weekend and everyone truly enjoyed it! It’s not too often you find a waterfront property that has pretty much everything you need! Rooms were clean, the game room was fun and the views were amazing! The owner Moe was more than helpful when we were looking for places to stay with the family. Super friendly and took the time to answer all my questions. The rooms were very clean and well put together. We rented the golf cart to get around to the beach and back which the kids loved. The beach was very clean and the view was great. If you have kids there are plenty of onsite activities to do like basketball, shuffle board, pickle ball… the fire pits were great for s’mores and relaxing.
