LUMA was a perfect hotel for our weekend in NYC. We had 2 Broadway shows to see, and both were very close by. We only needed to take a cab one time our whole stay since everything we needed was so close. The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve ever experienced. Our room was very clean and the bathroom amenities smelled so good! The restaurant downstairs provided me with easily the best steak I’ve ever had, and again, very friendly service. We would absolutely stay here again!

We took our entire family to NYC for Christmas, a dream trip for our entire party. The decision to be here at Luma proved to be the best decision we could have made for our stay. The staff was so warm and helpful during our whole 6 night stay. The location is ideal for walking to a plethora of New York sites (such as Times Square, Bryant Park Christmas Market, the Theater District, and sooo much more), and a very close subway inlet for everything else. As an aside, we were able to watch them test the new Year's Eve ball at Times Square from our room every day. The Aperibar restaurant and bar was excellent and very accommodating to our party of 8. Breakfast each morning was a warm, friendly experience but, if staying more than a night, don't expect much variety. The food they offered was ve

We just got home from our mini vacation. We can not stop talking about how impressed we are with this hotel. The staff was always friendly, welcoming us home after the day of sightseeing. We were celebrating our sons 10th birthday and the girls at the front(sorry I didn’t get her name) sent up the robot to our room with balloons and sweet treats as well as a birthday card for our son. The rooms were always clean, the bed was so comfortable. We were on the 9th floor facing the city and surprisingly it was very quiet! The hotel is very modern and well kept. The location was perfect as it was right in the middle of everything but quietly tucked away on a side street. We are already talking about when we will return. This will be our home away from home. Thank you for such a memorable sta

The location of this hotel is excellent. The street it's on is not super noisy so the experience in the rooms isn't too loud. We were really looking forward to staying here. It was underwhelming. The rooms are super small which we were prepared for but they are extra small - prepare (we didn't reserve the smallest room). The heater in the first room we were in was crazy loud. Engineering came up, inspected it, found tons of towels tucked around the area to dampen the noise (it didn't work) and advised moving rooms. We went back down and got a different room but they were less than friendly. The front desk is adjacent (on top of) the restaurant and bar and the noise level means they have a hard time hearing guests and vice versa. Our encounters with the front desk were so-so - they weren't

My family visited NYC for Christmas and chose this hotel specifically for the double king beds, which were perfect for us. We also enjoyed a lovely extra touch when the robot, Alina, delivered some cute goodies to our room as part of a package, she even delivered a late-night food delivery. The location is excellent—super close to Times Square, Bryant Park, and multiple subway stations. The rooms were quiet and spacious, easily accommodating our family of four with two teens. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly; my son especially loved being asked how his day was every time we returned from an outing. They were also extremely accommodating when my daughter got sick and we needed cleaning supplies and extra towels. Overall, the experience was absolutely wonderful and deserving
