Stayed 3 months at this KOA - Nicest RV park in the area by a long shot. Cody at the front desk was incredible in managing all things throughout our stay. The newer side of the park is flawless, the older side could use some updates. Let us park our boat in trailer parking up front without any added cost. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Stayed here for one night as it was an approximate halfway point between home and our Galveston beach destination. My husband reserved our spot online the morning we left. It was a super-convenient, quick and easy process. We arrived after hours but easily found a bright pink envelope with our name on it with a grounds map to our spot. The pad was paved and the overall campground was well-maintained with pond, dog park, pool, and other amenities we might have needed on a longer stay but didn’t this one. We did, however, take advantage of the small playground which my 3-year-old loved. He climbed and played on the slide until dark, and it was a perfect way for him to get rid of some of that pent-up energy from riding for a few hours. There was enough lamplight to light my way as I got in a
We loved it. Cody is the absolute best! Very knowledgeable of the area, always asking how things are going. By the end of the 30 ish days, it was hard to leave. Thank you for hosting us and we will be back soon.
Stayed in a cabin. One night. First time here. We've stayed in many other KOA cabins across the country. Space, comfort, and amenities were all good. However, cleanliness (i.e. dust buildup on the fans), and cabin odor (bad sewer smell), made our stay less than enjoyable. Shame because it seemed a nice place and nice people.
Our stay here was excellent! The pull-thru site was clean and level. This campground is very quiet and peaceful yet is conveniently located near the interstate and town. The pool and recreation area were also clean and well-maintained. The shower rooms were updated and nice. Overall, we were pleased and would definitely stay again.
