Loveland Ski School

We did a 2-day private lessons for my 2 boys (3 & 5 yo) at the end of December and my boys absolutely had a blast! We initially wanted ski, but since that was fully booked, we were flexible with snowboard lessons instead. We lucked out with an amazing and highly patient instructor Elly and her other colleagues who helped out. The rental lines, albeit crowded, ran smoothly. The workers were very helpful with getting the right sizes, and their equipment were decent. The kids had hot cocoa for their break and they really loved that. Wish we did more days! Will def come back to Loveland the next time we’re visiting the in-laws in Colorado!

We just returned from a private family ski lesson here at Loveland Ski School and loved every minute!! Jennifer Schuta was our instructor and she was sooo amazing!! My kiddos learned how to turn and navigate on their skis on their first day and progresses to steeper slopes! Will definitely be going back with Jen for more lessons! Can’t go wrong with Jen :)

Our second time coming here. Got the beginners full day snowboard lesson with my husband this time and our instructor Joey Goode was incredible. His advice and tricks focusing on each of our weaknesses were really helpful. I was able to get my balance and speed in control which I’m really happy about. Would definitely recommend him and Loveland team again. The entire process from start to end with the rental and lessons were great and smooth.

TL;DR: Jwood and Ben F rock, lift operators too. 10/10 would return! I have snowboarded on and off throughout my life but never really picked it up. This year, I decided to challenge myself and commit to learning. Earlier this month, I took lessons with Jwood and Sam H on my first day, and Ben F on my second. They were all patient, passionate, and kind. Each of them went above and beyond. They gave me confidence as a new snowboarder and made learning so much fun. On my first day at Loveland Ski School, I worked with Jwood. His enthusiasm and kindness stood out right away. He was eager to help and always happy to answer questions. As a beginner, I often do not know what my body is doing on the board. Even with detailed explanations, I struggled to understand the correct posture for a toe-

Alana Vaughn-Phillips is a great instructor, especially for beginners. She's experienced, patient, tailors class to your learning style, motivational, kind, etc. We had another instructor that wasn't as nice, but still knowledgeable. Overall a good place for adults to learn and have fun on the snow.
