Well I stayed here for about a year and everything started out great. The man I rented my lot from was also on the board and he was a very kind man. Then things just started breaking like the sewer line was always needing repairs, or the cable was going out, or the final straw was that the power was supposed to be turned off for 3 to 4 days so they can move a transformer box because of a legal suit they had been involved in. Also because everybody hates each other apparently in the park, the office lady fired the other office lady and so no one was there working in the office to receive packages or let people in. Towards the end, I never saw the sunshine because the trees were so overgrown and I was reprimanded for trimming my own trees to get them off my RV. The board members refuse to us
At Lost Lake, you are definitely in the woods and sleeping under a canopy of evergreen trees. The resort consists of ownership lots that are rented on a monthly basis when not in use by the owners. There are a variety of shapes and sizes of lots within the huge property, a few with kitchen build-outs and paver-brick pads (our site was huge…one of the largest in the park…but just bare-bones with crushed gravel at the time…upgrades were planned for the future). Not all lots have 50 amp service, so be VERY specific about your needs. Cable TV is provided at each site, as satellite dishes seldom receive a signal due to the density of the trees. (By the way, the trees are absolutely wonderful, but be prepared to sweep the roof of your coach and slides after each strong wind…lots and lots of need
Visited the area based on a recommendation and was directed to view the board for RV parking information. After making the trip, I called the contact listed on the post, only to be informed that their CCRs prohibit my 2026 Forest River Cascade 20OG Destination Trailer—despite it being brand new and in excellent condition. It would have been helpful if the office screened basic eligibility over the phone to avoid unnecessary travel and wasted time. Additionally, the strict "2-persons-per-site" policy severely limits family stays. This may work for retirees or couples without children, but it certainly isn’t a family-friendly setup—unless you’re prepared to pay for multiple sites (at over $1,800/month) and have your children camp separately. Overall, it feels more like a private retirement
Lost Lake is the most amazing, unique, wonderful place! I’m sorry that Mr Chavez had such a bad experience while renting here in 2019. However valid his experience might be, it was 6 years ago and times they have changed - and in a very positive way! We are much better resort today and we keep getting better! Our owners are no longer engaged in a legal battle with the developers! We won our lawsuit and are now totally independent from the developers. The developers still own about 20 lots that are available for purchase or rent (3 month minimum). Most recently, we purchased 53 additional acres of open land adjacent to the resort. This land has walking trails and an amazing view of Mt Rainier. First, folks need to understand that Lost Lake is NOT a commercial campground where people can co
My husband and I purchased a lot back in Aug. ‘23 and have had such an amazing experience so far! The beauty of the forest and the mystical Lost Lake itself is mind-boggling!!! We wake up every day needing to pinch ourselves that we really get to be a part of this awesome community! The folks here super friendly - both the staff and residents alike. When we were moving our rig into our site, so many people volunteered to help my husband back in under the RV cover. Everything here is well maintained and I feel every attempt is made to preserve the natural beauty of the resort.
