American Heritage Campground

What a wonderful surprise! I never would have guessed there would be an RV in the city that would make you forget you're in the city! Wooded, lush, with large private campsites. The owner was friendly and professional. The dog park and little farm were such an unexpected treat. We would highly recommend this gem!

What a lovely peaceful place run by a family. Good size campsites, Very clean and the owners are such sweet people. There is a playground so our little one enjoyed that and there is a pool and laundry onsite. We needed to order something to the campground also and they were so accommodating, lovely people running this place. We would definitely be back.

We stayed here for a couple months, (travel nurse), and enjoyed it very much. Sites have good privacy trees and the location was nice to see much of the area. Nice dog park and friendly people with a small store in the office. Taco truck nearby is a bonus!

Stunning campground! Very clean and picturesque. Great laundry facilities and amenities block. Quiet, peaceful and very pleasant overall with lovely staff! If we weren’t on a schedule we would have happily paid to stay another night.

This is a beautiful campground with lots of trees and vegetation between campsites unlike other campgrounds where all you see are RVs lined up. Here the trees and brush between sites gives privacy. They are clean, offer amenities like a pool, bath house, playground etc. and the folks that run this family owned camp are really friendly. This was our second time staying here. Last time the grandmother helped up check in but this time we dealt with Dillon, her adult grandson. He’s friendly, helpful AND handsome. 😉
