Lord Hampshire Lakefront Cottages and Condo's

Rented Cabin 1 10/25 thru 1/26, was a bad experience Place was dirty No cleaning supplies Rose was happy to get you in but pretty much ghosted you ounce there, also kept my deposit charged linen fee when used my own sheets Highly do not recommend, was told deposit was refundable, and so much clutter in the place.

We stopped at the Lord Hampshire on impulse, and it was a complete surprise. We were looking for something clean and inexpensive for a few nights. We were taking care of some business in the area, and figured we only needed a clean bed to sleep in. Anything else was great but not required.||||Well, it was definitely clean. In addition, our room was cozy, quiet, and had the most amazing view of Lake Winnisquam. (A large, picturesque lake in NH's Lakes Region.) The lake is just feet from your room. It's absolutely breathtaking, day and night.||||I highly recommend this motel.||||Our first stay was in Room 25A. It's a little dated but clean and charming. I don't like having to write this, but hopefully the staff can act on the feedback. I didn't sleep at all during my 1 night stay. Either because of the bedding and/or the heater I couldn't breathe and produced so much mucous in response to the dust/mildew that I threw up. The bag of groundcoffee was open and empty. The soaps all expired in 2022 according to their packaging, and there were some long hairs in the bed and on the bathroom floor that couldn't be mine as my hair is clipper-cut short. I hope you can do a deep clean of the room to address the issue. Otherwise, the furnishings were modern and nice.

Stayed in one of the hotel rooms last week for a few days with my wife. The room itself was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. We had to bring our own pillowcases, sheets, blankets and towels, but I'm assuming it's because of covid. It has a small but deep tub that would be hard for a large adult to relax in. The outside screened in deck was awesome with a partial view of the lake. I say partial because there are a lot of trees blocking a lot to see from the room we had on the top floor. The hotel itself is VERY grungy and smelled of mildew very bad. No A/C in the hotel hallway which made it stinky and dirty. ||||A short walk takes you to the outside deck which is good sized but not huge. They do have slips for your boat so that's a bonus.
