Loews Regency New York

If you have the opportunity to stay at the Loews Regency Hotel in NYC you should go and stay at this hotel. It is a quintessential New York experience. You are greeted by a doorman who opens your door, takes your bag and valet parks your car. The lobby was beautiful and had two large fully decorated Christmas trees! We ate lunch at the restaurant, were seated right away and had a delicious meal in a beautiful setting with large comfy chairs. In the lobby from 3-6 was a station set up with free champagne and an elaborate hot chocolate bar with cookies and dried fruit and nuts. We stayed in the Park Ave Suite as I have two teenage kids who need their own beds. It was a huge space. So comfortable and with stunning views of the city. Beautiful hotel! Great safe location, close to everything, but not too close, just right. Hotel staff is friendly, efficient, helpful and accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the building is older but has old Park Ave New York charm. We had a lovely street view so we could see the snow covered trees from our window. Room service arrived quickly and was delicious. The Regency Bar and Grill where we had our breakfast daily, was perfect. Staff were also very efficient, polite, and friendly. Had such a great and memorable stay at Lowes Regency, will definitely be returning!

I was expecting a better overall experience given the price point of this hotel. Unfortunately, the service at the concierge desk was disappointing and felt unwelcoming, which set the tone for our stay. A more attentive and friendly approach would have made a big difference. The room itself was very spacious, which we appreciated. However, the shower felt outdated, we were unable to connect our phone to the TV, and the internet only worked intermittently throughout our stay. Additionally, the food prices were extremely high, and even small touches like complimentary water would have gone a long way in making the experience feel more aligned with the cost.

We had breakfast and OMG… it tasted so good 😍 Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every bite was a delight. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — so kind, attentive, and professional. They truly made us feel comfortable and taken care of. I recently spent fifteen days at this hotel recovering from an ankle surgery, so I had very limited mobility. The hotel—and especially the staff—was fantastic. Everyone was incredibly kind and supportive and helpful, including the managers, the room service folks, the receptionists, the valets, the team at the lobby restaurant, and most of all the housekeeping team (shout-out to the seventh floor team and especially the amazing Donna!). Simply put, everyone is both a professional and a kind human, and the vibes are good—folks seem happy. The room was nice, the sheets and pillows were good, solid sound insulation and privacy, nice views, room service is 24 hours and the food is solid plus you can Uber Eats anything and they’ll bring it to you 24/7, and they’ll help you plug in an Apple TV i
