Limekiln State Campground

Truly a scenic and cozy campground. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. They answered all my questions and reassured about the black bear activity and gave us tips on how to avoid an encounter. This is a very clean, friendly and not overwhelmingly big campground settled in a really beautiful and scenic area. The only downside was that there is no cellphone reception unless you drive a little closer to the town that’s nearby but that’s also just something to expect with camping. We definitely will be visiting again!

Don’t bother coming here unless you are planning on not having fun. They don’t allow it all regulars run that place and like to complain and make the park rangers wake us up at 1 am. Not aloud to make a sound or use bathrooms without saying we r taking over the bathroom for making coffee. No one was there for check in at 3 pm as it was my first time there I had no idea what to do or where to go wasn’t able to buy wood or ice. I have been camping for 15 plus years and I would never step foot on this property again!

This is a campsite and people were quiet and friendly. Easy able to walk around with no worries. Nice little beach and walking paths

We tent camped. Lots of sites. Beautiful beach with great view of the Lake.

Absolutely lovedddd camping here especially tenting it out! So beautiful so quiet and serene! Will definitely do it again and will forever recommend coming here. If I had to complain about one thing was, we did not see any bears and that was sad inside the campground have absolutely no service, but that is not a bad thing at all. Very, very pleased great staff 👍🏻
