When it comes to booking trips, this is a place I recommend. Lots of parking, smooth check in process. John is a great guy well spoken, easy to talk to, answered all my questions. I stayed in the Kings room with beach view it was amazing. No complaints from me definitely would stay here again!

Absolutely unique design — this place is a real surprise. The architecture and details are stunning, with a thoughtful mix of Spanish/Mediterranean elements and serene, almost Zen-like accents that make it feel like a curated retreat. Every corner feels intentional and visually rich. It’s especially impressive given the location — right in the heart of Del Mar, yet calm and transportive. I can’t speak to the rooms or service, but purely based on the design and atmosphere, this place is absolutely amazing

Don’t expect anything like a Marriott, but this older property is full of charm at every corner. There are little fountains, statues, plants, orchids at every corner. Room furniture is a bit older but has everything you need. A nice corner for 2 with Ocean view for breakfast on the upper level. Or if you prefer you can take your morning coffee in front of a wood fireplace. The folks taking care of the Inn are very nice. More of a family atmosphere. Mattress in my room was good.|A few minor inconveniences: No thermostat to set the temperature (there is AC and heater), blinds were not blocking the light and you can hear steps on the wooden floor above. |Location is fantastic: walk to the bottom of the street for gorgeous views. absolutely stunning little motel/inn in the heart of Del Mar. very private, beautifully decorated, lots of character, great ambiance. super close to the ocean, close to restaurants, peaceful. it's a very low key place... so do not expect white glove service.
