Best Western Premier Hotel Del Mar

Our stay at Best Western was very nice. The room was super clean and well prepared. We had everything and didn't have to ask for anything to be provided. The check in staff was also great and helpful. We didn't however like the gym. Too many cardio machines and not enough for people who like strength training (or don't understand that machine in there that resembles the Bowflex). Please add some dumbells! We get a lot of walking done out and about enjoying the town. We didn't try the pool. However, we did walk around the hotel and it has a lovely design. Outside the pool there are beautifully deocrated spots to lounge and get some fresh air. A fire pit was going outside of the cafe and definitely a spot to chill and enjoy the environment. There is also onsite laundry for guests to use.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and it's always been a great experience. The location is amazing. The ocean views from the rooms are spectacular. It's clean, wifi is great, and the people are the best.||In my last trip, I messed up the dates. Despite my clumsiness, the staff went above and beyond to fix my mistakes and made sure that everything worked smooth for me. They were super proactive. Best in class customer service. Special thanks to Sonia and Jaden who made me feel at home.

This is a great hotel right on the southern edge of the downtown village of Del Mar. Found the front desk staff to be extremely friendly, informative and helpful, both over the phone and in person. Stayed in a second story balcony room with a view of the ocean. The hotel is up the hill a few blocks back from the beach. Although you can not see the beach, there is a nice ocean view where we were able to watch the sunset. The hotel is extremely quiet and did not wake up from any hallway noise or noise from adjacent rooms. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with a larger bathroom than many other hotels. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there in the future. The only issue with the location is you have to make U-turns to go different directions in and out of the hote

Generally speaking a very nice hotel in a good location. Access to the beach is within 30 minutes walk and the beach is stunning. While the room was well insulated against outdoor noise and you couldn't hear any noise caused by the traffic, indoors it was a different story. The room's door was not insulated at all. You heard all the noise from the ice cube machine, the maintenance room, the aircon in the hallway and sleeping even with earplugs was difficult. We'd been situated on the ground floor (= 1st floor in the US).
