Del Mar Beach Hotel

A hidden gem… the cutest hotel ever!! My girlfriends and I came for a one night getaway and it was perfect. The hotel is RIGHT on the beach and you have an incredible patio to enjoy the view. Lots of chairs and seating and even firepits! Super friendly and helpful staff at the hotel- we came in late night to get croissants at the front desk and he brought out a whole fresh batch for us :) Bar and coffee bar in the lobby is such a nice touch! I made myself a flat white and sat and watched the morning beach scene. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and loved the glass of rose at check-in. We will be back!!

This is an excellent place to stay in Del Mar. I've been staying here since the 80s, and it's only gotten better. You are literally steps from the beach. My wife and I recently stayed for her 60th birthday. The experience could not have been better. Brittany in the office was super friendly and professional. She saw that it was my wife's birthday and made our stay truly special. It's always an incredible and fun place to stay.

This hotel is a diamond in the rough! The hotel staff were so nice and welcoming, they couldn’t do enough for you. My husband and I stayed here for a week for 2 reasons. 1 vacation 2 visiting family. The rooms were very clean and so is the property. We loved the complimentary coffee in the morning and throughout the day as well. We will definitely stay here again when we visit with family. The wine dispenser in the lobby of the hotel is a nice touch as well.

Amazing hotel, clean, staff is kind, great beach access, and view facing the water is incredible for sunset. My elderly parents loved sitting on the patio and watching the waves. Free boogie board rental was awesome too. One challenge was parking. Fine if you have one car but we had to use metered parking for our second car for a bit—not a deal breaker, but a minor inconvenience. Another thing is that the coffee makers in the room don’t make hot water, you have to go to the lobby for hot water, and they had no plain black tea, only orange flavored tea. I would recommend bringing your own tea bags if you don’t drink coffee. One thing to be aware of is that the partial ocean view rooms do not actually have an ocean view. You have to step outside in the hallway to see the ocean. That said
